Campers participate in common residential camp activities such as BOATING, ARCHERY, and ARTS and CRAFTS. However, our staff ensures that every camper is also provided experiences in TEAM, CHARACTER, and SELF-ESTEEM building activities.

• Learn Independence and Enjoy the Outdoors: Campers reside at Camp Whitley in newer cabins and work as a team within the cabin and in daily activities that are centered around the pristine and undeveloped Camp Whitley land and Troy Cedar Lake.

• Unique Activities: Campers are taught a variety of skills and activities like archery, hiking, gun safety, kayaking, swimming, arts and crafts, various team and individual sports, participate in team skits and learn camp songs and legends.

• Evening Entertainment: Campers participate in evening activities under the supervision of their camp counselors and directors. Such activities are: scavenger hunt, camp-wide talent show, karaoke, movies, Capture-the-Counselor, campfires, and evening hikes.

• Weekly Awards: Every camper is a winner at Camp Whitley! The focus of our awards is on growth and demonstration of the Spirit of Camp Whitley. Campers can earn ribbons, certificates, and trophies.
